About Me

Hello, I'm Leslie, a qualified counsellor committed to helping individuals and couples overcome life's hurdles and beuild meaningful connections. Having lived in Malaysia, the United States, and now the UK, I understand different life experiences and cultures.

I also have many years of experience working in Financial Services, and understand the stress that comes with offshore/overseas rotational work and high-pressure jobs. In my personal life, I'm in a committed relationship and have a grown daughter and a teenage son. I know what it takes to build a healthy relationship and manage the challenges of parenting.

I'm passionate about helping couples who are open to change and seeking deeper connections. With specialised training in the Baden-Pearson Developmental Couples Counselling Model, I can be both directive and supportive as we work together to uncover the root of your challenges, face them, and grow personally in you relationship.

My goal is to help you to cope with life's difficulties, heal from painful experiences, and thrive in your personal and professional life. Your mental health is my priority, and I will provide a confidential, inclusive space to support your journey towards clarity and growth.

My Approach to Therapy

For individual therapy, I use Transaction Analysis (TA), a highly effective approach that explores how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are shaped by past experiences. TA helps you uncover and understand the 'scripts' or patterns developed early in life that are influencing your current decisions and relationships. Together, we'll work to challenge and rewrite those scripts that are no longer serve you to align with your goals and values.

For couples, I combine TA and the Baden-Pearson Developmental Model. The Baden-Pearson Developmental Model focuses on understanding the unique dynamics of your relationship and identifying areas of growth. This model addresses the developmental stages couples experience and helps partners learn how to navigate challenges, improve communication, and foster a stronger emotional bond.

In all my sessions, I aim to create a safe, non-judgemental environment where you feel supported and empowered to explore your challenges and grow at your own pace. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I'm here to help you build the tools and condfidence to thrive in your life and relationships.

Take the first step towards positive change-let's work together to improve your life and relationships.
